Project Overview
LeiaPix converter is a web-based converting tool that allows anyone to convert a 2D image to a depth image(in MP4/GIF format).
The goals of the product are:
Position Leia as the leader in 3D imaging technology
Grow the LeiaPix family of products
Increase mindshare of the Leia brand
Based on the goals of the product, this product’s success will be achieved by acquiring users and raising awareness.
The Structure
We have five people in the team to work on this product, and we have an open-source license to support the back-end. When the project started, the major work was on design and front-end. First, I worked with our PM and back-end engineer to figure out the features we would want for users, then created a sitemap to help us clear minds. After that, I mainly focused on the visual part of this product since the logic and structure were all clear.
